According to me Both are important as we can't live without our family. you have written in your status that without our family we are just like a drop of water so that is correct but friends also play a very important part of our life as we share all our feelings with our friends....

From their first moments of life , children depends on parents and family to protect them and provide them their basic needs and as we know that Parents and Family forms a child's first relationship...... so the Family is more important than freind for each & every children........
But Friends are too important for us because they r the one that we shares our feelings with them......
So Both r important.........
They have been compare with sun and moon then we can't live without them or we can't pass a single day without them.......
