To be a neuro surgeon, one has to choose Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects at least in the 11th and 12th classes. Then you have to write an entrance for medical colleges in your state and at all India level. There are multiple entrace exams. Then get selected and join in MBBS degree.
Usually specialization is after MBBS (of 5 years). This is the genericdegree. One can study post graduation degree M.S. master of surgegy - with this specialization to become a Neurosurgeon.
One can probably have some alternatives depending on the country in which one studies.
