It helps you as it is associated in your everyday life whether it's your home budget or any other important work. I know how it feels when you are stuck in some problem of your Math's book but , later on you get the solution.
Even if you want to become an I.A.S officer for that also you have to clear the UPSC examination in which Maths is the most important subject.
So , it's an important subject...

Yes ! I guess it's an important subject for everybody as it can open gates of many jobs in your future. I know sometimes , Maths can trouble but then it frees you from it's chain. Hope it helps you !
