Well you've asked a very great question and I can help you in that because I gained 100 marks in Social studies in 10th class!
For social studies, it's just a myth that we need to cram more and more actually the truth is that all we need to do is to feel the subject and read it with interest with full understanding of every single line. Social studies is not a tough subject it is a very good subject and all you need is to cram less and understand more.
Your 2nd interest and most important part is your teacher. As if I talk about my time I was lucky because I had such a great teacher who explained everything with great interest that I fell in love with social studies before 10th I hate social studies a lot but he was the one who made me love the subject.
OKAY.. so in the end I just want to advise that just be honest with the subject and try to understand every line because this is the only key to get 90+ marks and even 100.....
