\bf\fbox\red{ Area of PQRS is 25.5 cm²}

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer 1

Area ∆PQS =  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \:  \times  \: height

Here the base is SQ

Area ∆PQS =

 =   \frac{1}{2}  \times 7 \times 4 \\  \\  = 7 \times 2 \\  \\ =  14 \:  {cm}^{2}

Similarly Area of ∆ QRS

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 7 \times 3 \\  \\  = 3.5 \times 3 \\  \\  = 10.5 \:  {cm}^{2}

Area of PQRS = area ∆PQS + Area ∆QRS

Area of PQRS = area ∆PQS + Area ∆QRS \\  \\  = 14 + 10.5 \\  \\  \bf = 24.5 \:  {cm}^{2}
