I wouldn't suggest any highly technical and standard book at this moment.

Read Indian Express/Hindu News Paper on a daily basis. Study all the NCERT textbooks from class 6-10 once. Develop effective writing skills. These would suffice for now. These shall take care of your foundation. Hope this helps.
