I too have learnt French a little. So, basically there is no magic trick that can help you in mastering French in a day or two. But there are some very basic suggestions that can absolutely help you in learning it.
⚜ - The first and foremost suggestion is that you should value fluency over accuracy.The ultimate goal when learning a new language is to use it fluently, not accurately. But this does not mean ignoring accuracy.
⚜ Find a good learning partner to practice conversing in French.
⚜ Start labeling things in your house in French or know what they would be known as in French.
⚜ Leave your comfort zone and have willingness to make mistakes. Celebrate your mistakes and make it a habit to not to repeat them.
⚜ Listen to the way the native speakers talk. At first, it may seem hard but gradually you will begin to understand. You can also watch French movies or listen to songs in french language.
⚜ Practice French every day.
⚜ Last but not least, have fun learning it.
