C.P of 32 articles = S.P of 24 articles

let the CP be 100, then

CP of 32 articles =Sp of 24 articles =100

since these two quantities are different,we need to equal it,

therefore- CP of 32 articles=100

or CP of 1 article=100/32

or CP of 24 articles=100/32*24=75

Since CP of 24 articles=75 and SP of 24 articles=100, there is a gain ( gain = 100-75=25)

gain%= gain/CP*100= 25/75*100=33.33%
