i am not found right answer of this question that why mars is known as red planet everyone just giving this that mars have red color that why called red planet but it's not exact answer​

Today, thanks to visiting spacecraft, we know that the planet's appearance is due to rust in the Martian rocks.Thus,we all get to know that the rocks on Mars are red naming it The Red Planet.
