• They tell us about the time,movement,position and the procedure of completion of action.
• By using clear prepostions we can make a sentence specific.
• Prepositions are generally followed by noun or pronoun.

Prepositions are of following types-

1. Preposition of time=They tell us about when something is happened,happens or will happen.Example=on,in,at,before etc.
2. Preposition of Place=Tell us about the position.Example=under,above,over,etc.
3. Preposition of movement= Tell us about the movement how something move from one place to another.Example=To,across,through,into etc.
