I am school Librarian, would like to do some activities or any good speech on importance of reading

Reading is beneficial as it keeps us from a lot of paining failures we would experience on our path to success. It gives us ready information thus saving us a lot of time we would spend learning things by our own experience. Reading isimportant because words spoken or written are the foundations of life.
