I AM SUBTANCE,I AM MIXTURE
(by Wilfredo d. bartol,jr)
Matter has two braod classes
Mixtures and subtances
Each one with differences
Let us start with their appearances.
homogeneous or heterogeneous
Telling a subtance from a mixture can be used
When subtances are all homogeneous
Mixtures can be homogeneous or heterogeneous.
Next way to distinguish is through seperating technique
Mixtures can be seperated easy and quick
Through evaporation, distillation and filtration
But not subtances due to chemical combination.
Subtances and mixtures behave differently,
During boiling and melting most specially
Boiling point of subtance is fixed while mixture is not
Subtance melts completely but mixture does not
I am subtance,I am mixture
Two words apart
1.what is a mixture?
2.what are the sets of properties of mixtures?
3.tabulate your answer about the properties of matter.
