I am timed. Please answer quickly. One cylinder has a volume that is 8 cm^(3) less than 7/8 of the volume of a second cylinder. If the first cylinder’s volume is 216 cm^(3) , what is the correct equation and value of x, the volume of the second cylinder?

Let the volume of second cylinder be x cm³

According to the question

7/8 ( 216 ) – 8 = x

7 × 27 = x + 8

189 = x + 8

x = 189 – 8

x = 181 cm³

Volume of the second cylinder is 181 cm³
