I am torn between medical and English literature. What will my life be like if i go for either of them? Is there any way to know for sure that this is what I want to do?

dnt get confused ...just sit for some time and think for urself ...you will definitely know what u want...close your eyes and think calmly...ask some experts...and decide for urself...

Have tried that! Even wrote down the pros and cons of both the fields. And I still am confused. I need a clear idea as to what my life will be like if I go for either of them. I don't want to regret my decision later!

please don't look for your passion ,be with your good career
if you feel english makes your career well choose it but if you do not think so then choose medical

Why not go with passion? What makes you say that?
let me give you an eg.
suppose your passion is cricket then you see your career in it,but how many get selected in indian cricket team just 11 out of those lakh people.how much is the possibility that you are one out of those 11
But it is not like that in each and every case, right?
its up to you . u are really inquisitive to know about it so seriously i feel u need to relax for sometime and think about what i had answered these points were told to me by my teacher and i abide by them.
t it's ur life do whatever u want
do something u r interested in rather than following advices
