Given , ∆ ABC and ∆ DBC are two isosceles triangles .
We have to prove that , Angle ABD = Angle ACD .
PROOF :
In ∆ ABC , AB = AC
We know that , if two sides of a triangle are equal , then their opposite angles are also equal .
So , Angle ABC = Angle ACB ......(1)
In ∆ DBC , BD = CD
Since we know that , if two sides of a triangle arw equal , then their opposite angles are also equal .
So , Angle DBC = Angle DCB .....(2)
Now , by adding the equations (1) & (2) , we get -----
Angle ABC + Angle DBC = Angle ACB + Angle DCB
=> Angle ABD = Angle ACD .
