Hey! Here's your answer:

(i) Anil was an extremely trusting man. He always saw the best in everyone. The night Hari ran away with all the money and returned due to his conscience pricking him, Anil knew what had happened, however, he knew that Hari had learnt his lesson. He believed in Hari Singh and forgave him. Therefore he didn't confront him about it and started paying him regularly.

(ii) Griffin was described as lawless in the story footprints without feet. This is because he used his discovery for fulfilling his selfish needs. He set his landlord's house on fire, ran away, stole clothes and food from various shops, robbed the innkeeper and his wife and fooled them. He also hit the police officers and hit the people who tried to catch him and ran away.

(iii) The author mentions three main qualities that are essential for the making of a scientist. These are a first-rate mind, curiosity and the will to win for the right reasons. Richard Ebright was an all-rounder student. From the beginning, he had an incredibly curious mind; and it was this curiosity that ultimately led him to his theory about cell life.

Hope it helps:)
