Answer:

1. Sea and Land Breezes describe the wind that blows onshore from sea to land during the day and blows offshore in the evening. Why do I care? During the summer, the sea breezes are stronger than in winter because of the large temperature differences between land and ocean water that time of year.

2. Ventilators are provided in the rooms at the top of the roofs because if the air inside the room gets hot, the hot air rises up and flows through these ventilators and thus cool air remains at bottom. ... Thus ventilators maintain conventional currents to keep the air fresh in the room.

3. Freezing chest in a refrigerator is fitted near its top, because it cools the remaining space of the refrigerator by convection current.

4. In conduction, heat transfer takes place between objects by direct contact. In convection, the heat transfer takes within the fluid. In radiation, heat transfer occurs through electromagnetic waves without involving particles. The heat transfer takes place due to the difference in temperature.

Conduction :

1} It is the transfer of heat by direct contact.

2) The reason for heat transfer is temperature difference.

Convention:

1) It involves the heat movement by actual motion of the matter.

2) This process takes place due to difference in densities.

Answer:

the above pictures are for Answer 1 and 4

2) a ventilator is a small vent at the top part of the walls of our house to let the hot air escape from the room and the room remains cool. As hot air is less dense and lighter than cold air , it rises up and the cold air descends down , so the hot air gets accumulated at the top and escapes through ventilator.

3) The freezing chest is fitted near the top of the fridge to let the cold air fall on each and every items below it and they remain fresh. As cold air is dence , it descends downwards , and if the chest was fitted below , the sir would take time to travel up by first filling the bottom . Hence for efficiency and to keep the foods fresh for long , it's fitted at the top.

hope it helped
