i) arrange these elements in decreasing order of the atomic radii.
ii) are the elements now arranged in the pattern of the period in periodic table.
iii) which element has the largest and smallest atomic radii
iv) from the above data, infer how the atomic size or atomic radii changes as we move from left to right.
v) name one metal, a non-metal and a metalloid ut of the table.
vi) why does atomic radii decreases aas we move from left to right in a period.

Answer:

This is my first answering, so please support me :)

Explanation:

i) Atomic radii is as follows : Li > Be > B > C > N > O > F

ii) Yeah they are now arranged in the same order as that of the Periodic Table

iii) Lithium(Li) has the largest atomic radii and Fluorine (F) has the smallest atomic radii

iv) From the above data we can infer that as we move from left to right along a period, the atomic radii decreases

v) Metal- Lithium(Li)

Non Metal- Fluorine (F)

Metalloid- Boron

vi) As we move from left to right, the atomic number increases. As a result, the no. of protons increases which in turn, increases the Nuclear charge. As nuclear charge increases , the nucleus has the capacity to hold electrons close to them. More the nuclear charge, more the closeness of electrons

HOPE THIS HELPS :)
