let side of larger square be = S

let side of smaller square be = s

A.T.Q,

9 × s × s = S ×S

3 × s × 3 × s = S × S

(3s)^2 = S^2

Square rooting both sides ,

S = 3s

perimeter of smaller square + perimeter of larger square = 200

4S + 4s = 200

4(S+s) = 200

S+s = 50

we know S = 3s

so,

3s + s = 50

4s = 50

s = 12.5 cm

So , S = 3 × 12.5 = 37.5 cm

perimeter of larger square = 4 × 37.5

= 150 cm
