Let, the value of whole property be x
Given, from 2/3 of x, the person has taken 4/5
That is = 4/5 of (2/3 of x)
= 4/5 * 2x/3 = 8x/15
Now, 8x/15 is his share.
From the share, the person sold 3/4th of his share.
That is = 3/4 of ( 8x/15 )
= 3/4 * 8x/15
= 2x/5
So 2/5 of the property is worth Rs. 12000
2x/5 = 12000
2x = 12000 * 5
2x = 60000
x = 60000 / 2
x = 30000
∴The value of the total property is equal to Rs. 30000.
