I bought some parrots 20% of them flew away 5% died. Of the remaining 45% of sold. Now only 33 parrots remain. How many parrtos did I purchased.

20% flew and 5% died so remaining will be x - 20% of x - 5% of x

x- 20x/100 - 5x/100 = 75x/100

45% of the remaining is sold so 55% is still remains

55% of 75x/100 = 33

55/100 * 75x/100 = 33

x = 330000/4125

x = 80

total parrots were 80
