He believed Indian independence and development were directly related to self-reliance. Self-reliance being capable of doing all your work yourself without any outside aid. I can become ideal citizen by being self-reliant.
Personal Hygiene: Gandhi Ji believed cleanliness is next to godliness. He taught everyone simple but effective techniques of maintaining personal and social hygiene. I can become the ideal citizen by keeping my-self clean and maintaining cleanliness in my surroundings.
