So, the rate of one tomato is 3/2 =1.5rs.

1 tomato worth 1.5rs.
So in 300rs you can sell 300/1.5 =200 tomatoes

According to the question 2 tomatoes for 3 rupees

so for 300 rupees he would have sold 200 tomatoes.
