I can't understand maths how can i

First let me tell u my story. When I was in class 6 , I failed in maths, getting only 18 out of 80 but then in class 10 I got 99 in maths in my boards. So I did this by following these rules :- I started reading the examples and the theory before I started the numerical. My sister used to say in those days that the publishers of the books had no intention to waste their printing money and so the theory were of great significance.

Another thing, if u ever face problem in solving any sum just spend the hours needed till it is solved and don't ask for it in the internet. If u solve that question it will get stuck to your head forever and also u will get a confidence in solving the next one.
