  1. no , the two immiscible liquids can't be separated by this process , the immiscible liquids can be separated by seperating funnel.
  2. seperation of liquids by this process is known as distillation.
  3. water will remain in the flask .
  4. water will remain in the flask because , the Boling point of water is 100° and the boiling point of alcohol is 65° , so first alcohol will heat first after that when the boiling point of water reaches we will stop heating the mixture .
  5. The function of fractionating column is to cool down the vapour and condense it . Hope you understand mam .
