i cant find out the area and perimeter for this compund shape.​

perimeter = perimeter of 1st rectangle + perimeter of 2nd rectangle

= 2(9+4) + 2(4+ 3)

= 18+8+8+6

= 40cm

for area of this compound,

area = ar. of 1st rectangle + ar. of 2nd rectangle

= 9×4 + 3×4

= 36 + 12

= 48cm^2

perimeter=9+4+3+5+4+3+4=32 cm

area= (9×4)+(4×3)

= 36+12 cm^2

= 48 cm^2
