i. Circles with centres A, B and C touch each other externally. If AB = 3 cm, BC = 3 cm,
CA=4 cm, then find the radii of each circle.​

given, AB = 3cm, BC = 3cm and CA = 4cm.

Let, radius of `C' centred circle is x cm.

so, the radius of 'A' centred circle will be (4-x)cm.

and radius of 'B' centred circle will be (3-x)cm.

and given that AB=3=(4-x)+(3-x)

so, 3=7-2x

=> 2x=7-3

=> x = 2.

so, radius of 'C' centred circle is x=2cm,

radius of 'B' centred circle is (4-x)=2cm

and, radius of 'A' centred circle is (3-x)=1cm.
