Can and Do have very much difference.


Can is a modal
Do is a verb


Can is the ability to do a work.
Do means that u will complete that work

For example:- I can help him.
This sentence means that u have the ability to help him but it depends on u that will u help him or not.
Do:- I do help him.

This sentence means that u are going to help him.

See there is a big difference between do and can. Both are verbs but have a different emotion.
Like, can is something that you will be able to complete or not cause it depends on the situation. Where as do is something you are promising. There is no exceptions in that thing
For example:
Can- I can climb up this tree.
Here there is an exception that you will be able to do or not.
Do- I will do my homework.
Here you are ready to do and there is no escape.
So do is a promising word, where as can is an exception.
