Step-by-step explanation:

Here is word problem

My current age is 3 times the age of a child

6 years later my age would be twice the age of child

Find my current age

my age = M

M = 3C

6 years later  Child age = C + 6

6 Years Later my age  = M + 6

M + 6 = 2(C + 6)
