The first level is called producers and this consist of producers which are the green plants. Then comes the second level called the primary consumers like earthworms, which feeds on the green plants. Next is the secondary consumers like hens, birds which feeds on the earthworms. 4th level is the tertiary consumers including vultures, eagles, etc.

ii) More than 4 levels do not exist because there will be not any energy that will be left to transfer to higher levels.
