Answer: The four tropic levels of the food chain are: Producers Primary consumers  Secondary consumers Tertiary consumers

Explanation:

The producer are the autotrophs found in nature which is responsible for the producing food in nature. Example: Plants

The second level is primary consumers which are usually herbivores that feed on the plants for their energy. Example: Mouse , rabbits.

The third level is secondary consumers, these feed on the small animals for food. Example: fox and wolf

The fourth level is tertiary consumers which feed on the secondary consumers for energy.

Example: Lion and Tiger.

There is not more than four level because these are the top carnivores and there are no superior animals then tertiary consumers and according to the 10 per cent energy law, there is no more energy left to be transferred at more higher levels.
