i decreased my value and respect in one of my friend. he is topper he was not willing to talk to me. he dont like me.. and dont reply to my msgs also.. even i wished him birthday.
i am feeling so bad.. he is excellent in studies.. and i am not. thats y.. i am a badminton state player.. but i wanna show him,.. who i am.. what i am.. i can prove myself .
friends just tell me am i going right / and listen i want respect now.. v are in same coaching. pls dont say that i dont need to prove.. i have too..
just tell me after getting ahead of him.. will he respect me???????????

U should try to make him understand that he should also involve in other matters apart from studies.u should also try to make him feel that u can be a gud frnd by giving him respect .also some people don't like others treating them as genius .they want to be treated by others as equals and not as a genius monster.also try to make him more involved in sports .also try to make him impressed of yr intelligence by improving in studies.but even if he is not befriending just leave him.he is not worthy of yr sincere friendship

it may depend. ofcourse showing of is not good but in this case it may depend on the boys attitude. Different people are of different character. if this boy has a nature of showing off or proud of himself (which u r sure about) then there is no wrong in proving yourself better than him. I dint mean to offend him , I just meant that to make him understand that no one is superior than other . each of us are good in our own sectors and this should not taken as an advantage by anyone. (By proving yourself this must be the lesson you teach him).
another type of people is that they wish others to treat them as their equals and not as someone special.you must make him understand that how much pain he have caused you, maybe you should talk openly with him. And still he doesn't wish to make friendship with you then he doesn't deserve a true friendship.
