yes,democracy  is a system of government where the citizens exercise power by voting. it allows us to correct our own mistakes.constitution limits the majority and protects the minority, usually through the enjoyment by all of certain individual rights, e.g. freedom of speech, or freedom of association.if mistakes are made,they cannot be hidden for long. there is a space for public discussion on these mistakes. and there is a room for correction. either the rulers have to change their decisions, or the rules can be changed. this cannot happen in non-democratic government.

this shows that democracy better than other forms of government.
