i) Describe a reaction where a more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal. Write the chemical equation.
class 7 pls answer
Answers
Answer:
The reactivity series of metals, also known as the activity series, refers to the arrangement of metals in the descending order of their reactivities. The data provided by the reactivity series can be used to predict whether a metal can displace another in a single displacement reaction

Answer:
let's take for example, we put 5 ml of copper sulphate solution in a test tube. And then place some iron feelings in the same test tube. After some time we will observe that the colour of the solution in the test tube changes from Blue to light green.
This happens because iron is more reactive than copper it displaces copper from copper sulphate solution and blue colour of copper sulphate disappears due to the formation of ferrous sulphate which is light green.
Fe+ CuSO4 = FeSO4+ Cu
Iron + copper sulphate give ferrous sulphate + copper
Hope this Helps!!!!
