Here, you can join two singular sentences by a connector “and”. Similarly, you can connect two sentences by each” and “every”. Below are some examples;
• Each pencil costs two rupees "and" each pen costs two rupees
• Each pencil "and" each pen costs two rupees.
So, in both above sentences, the verb would remain singular.
