This question is based on the poem 'Granny's Tree Climbing' by Ruskin Bond.
One day Granny climbed a tree and couldn't come down on her own. She had to be rescued by somebody from the tree top. She feel ill following this incident. The doctor was called and he took her temperature and advised her a week of complete bed rest.
Granny found the bed rest similar to a brief season in hell as she felt utterly miserable in bed as she could no longer pursue her adventurous pursuits of tree climbing and missed them a lot.

'The outcome was different while we were in town
She climbed a tree and couldn’t come down!
We went to the rescue, and then
The doctor took Granny’s temperature and said,
‘I strongly recommended a quite week in bed.’
We sighed with relief and tucked her up well.
Poor granny! For her, it was like a season in hell.'
