heya here's ur answer

let p(x) is any polynomial *any*

p(x)= 3x-x+1

then it is divided by any polynomial (x-a)

a Is a real number
so let a = 1

then let q(x) = x-1

when we divided these two we got 3x-2 quotient and 3 = remainder

then it is given that

p(a)= remainder

p = 1

p(1) = 3(1)-1+1

= 3-1+1

= 3 = remainder

hence forth,
p(x)/(x-1) = R = p (a)

hope it helps u if yes don't forget to thank and Mark me as brainlist
