ANSWER :-

65

Given -

  • Algebraic expression = 1- 4x(yz + 3xy)

  • Value for x = 2, y = -1 and z = 2

To find -

  • The value of the above Algerbraic expression.

Solution -

→ 1 - 4(2)[(-1)(2) + 3(2)(-1)]

→ 1 - 8 [(-2) + (-6)]

→ 1 - 8 (-8)

→ 1 + 64

→ 65 Ans

Procedure -

• This question is from the Algebraic identites.

• In this question we are given with an Algerbraic expression and with the values of x,y and z.

• In this question we will put 2 in place of x , -1 in place of y and 2 in place of z and then we will equate the whole value.

• First we will solve the values given inside the braket, which will be RHS and we wil multiply 4 with 2 which will be 8 and will write it as 1 - 8 which will be called as LHS.

• We will keep the LHS part the same after getting a final answer in RHS in the last we will add 1 + 64 \therefore will be give the value 65.

Remember that :-

  • (+)(-) = -

  • (-)(-) = +

  • (+)(+) = +

  • (-)(+) = -
