"i didnt specialize in ghost stories, but more or less they seemed to specialize in me" what does narrator mean by this????? plz giv a brief answer.....

the narrator does not like writing ghost stories. He does not specialize in them. He often wonders how he ended up getting ideas and plots for them. Since his first dash at fiction was a ghost story and it was well received by the audience, his publisher began pestering him to write more and more such stuff. It is only later on that he gets a knack of writing such stories and begins to enjoy writing them.
