„I do not agree to this. Why dream of playing a game against the race. How can you hope to gain happiness? Do not be a lone wolf. Publish your results, take the world-take the nation at least-into your confidence„, said Dr. Kemp. These words sum up, to a large extent, the downfall of a genius like Griffin. Elucidate from the novel „The Invisible Man‟.

Answer:

In "The Invisible Man", Griffin was an extraordinary mind who had discovered a formula to become invisible. Unluckily, he used it to meet his selfish personal end and plotted many robbery, stealing and swindling. In the process, he even killed many people. His downfall was due to his selfishness and overconfidence in himself. Dr. Griffin had advised him not to do these things rather share his invention for something constructive but Griffin didn't listen to him and ultimately, he met with a tragic death.
