Question

I don't know about my caste. When i ask my mother about our caste she said we are Rajput as my mother is from Chauhan family. But my caste will be of my father caste but he didn't tell me anything when i asked him. One day i went to my Grandfather and ask about our caste he told me that our 'got' means gotra is kashyap. Then he left me. When i questioned my father about our surname he told me that our surname is also kashyap. when i google it . It said kashyap are brahmin caste.I live in a village of punjab and people related to our caste called themselves rajput. so i am very confused. Can anyone tell me about kashyap caste? please don't write googled ans?!!! please​

Dude don't be confused in caste system and all , just remember that we all are Indians and we are proud to be an Indian.

I would recommend you to don't over think about this caste and all , It will not help you it will just confuse you and will waste your time.
