In the above figure we have two semicircles with diameter 1000mm
so radius is 500mm
first of all we will calculate the area of these two semicircles and then add
so if we add two semicircle we will get a circle so the area of circle is
πr^2
3.14 * 500*500
3.14*250000
785000mm^2
also we had a rectangle with breadth 1000mm and
length 2500-(500+500)
2500-1000
= 1500mm
so the area of the rectangle is
length*breadth
1500*1000
= 1500000mm^2
so the total area is
785000+1500000
2285000mm^^2
or we can say
228500*10^-4 cm^2
22.85cm^2
this is the answer
