I don't understand formula of v=s2-s1/t2-t1.
Plz explain with relevant example.

Answer:

it gives average speed of a particle

Explanation:

let us assume a train which left a station A(say) at time t=0,s=0(as distance travelled is zero)

and it has reached a station B (say) at time t=t1 which is at distance s1 from A

and then it reached another station C(say) at time t= t2 which is at distance s2 from A. then the average speed of the train in between stations B and C is given by,

V= s2-s1/t2-t1

here s2-s1= distance travelled ,

t2-t1= time interval of he journey

according to definition of  speed which is distance travelled in unit time it's speed is given by,

V= s2-s1/t2-t1

in this example, station A is taken as reference and all physical quantities are measured from it.

hence, in any case first you should choose a reference point and then try to determine what are s1 ,s2 ,t1 ,t2 in that and then you will get average speed of the particle
