It has given that alpha and beta are the zeros of given polynomial ax square plus bx +c

So we know that alpha + beta = -b/a

And alpha beta =c/a

Now in nxt step we use the formula of a square + b square that is(a+ b) to the power 2 minus 2ab and putting the value of alpha + beta and alpha beta in the formula hence we get the answer
