Both of the boys Aram and Mourad were liars as Mourad had stolen the horse and Aram knowing the truth concealed it.

Explanation:

  • They belonged to a community of people where everyone thought they were very honourable and trustworthy.

  • No one knew about their secret.

  • Aram tried his best to not let anyone know about the thievery. He wanted to enjoy riding the horse.

They both wanted to keep the horse for a while.

Explanation:

When Mourad said that he did not want both of them to be liars to Aram, he wanted to keep Aram out of trouble. However, both Aram and Mourad are liars because they both wanted to keep the horse for a while and not return it to it's owner.

The ironical thing about this statement is that though they knew what they were doing was wrong, they couldn't let go of the horse because they wanted to ride it and keep it with them.
