Here is the answer
You borrowed from both friends rupees 100. But that shirt was of rupees 97. The shopkeeper gave you 3 rupee. You gave 1 rupee to both your friends. You got 1 rupee balance with you now. You have to give rupees 49 for both your friends so 49+ 49 =98 . As you gave two friends 1 rupee both so 1 + 1 =2. Now there 98 and here 2 so 98 + 2 = 100 . You did one small mistake while adding. You got extra one with you which the shopkeeper gave. Please mark as brainiest if it helps.

Hello yaar,

Well, this is a nice question. Although it seems to be confusing it's very easy.

So total you borrowed 100 rupees from both of your friends. Among that you spend 97 rupees for buying your shirt. Later you were left with 3 rupees. You gave one rupee each to your friends and left with one.

So, totally you have spent 97 rupees and left with 1 rupee. Therefore total money used by  you and left with you is 97(which you spent) + 1(which you kept with you) = 98

Rest of the two rupees are left with your friends.

So, finally i conclude that 1 rupee has not vanished but it's only your illusion .

hope it helps u............
