Answer:

x = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

2(x-3) = 3/5 (x+4)

2x - 6 = 3/5x + 3/5×4

2x - 6 = 3/5x + 3 × 20 /5

2x - 6 = 3/5x + 60/5

2x - 6 = 3/5x + 12

2x - 6 - 12 = 3/5x

2x - 18 = 3/5x

2x - 18 × 5/3 = x

2x - 6 × 5 = x

(one x will get cut from boht sides)

x - 30 = 0

x = 30

Thanks!

Answer:

2x - 6 = 3x/5 + 12/5

2x - 6 = 3x + 12/ 5

2x - 6 ×5 = 3x + 12

2x - 30 = 3x + 12 ( now bring all the variables and constants to one side)

always remember to keep " X" as positive

-30 - 12 = 3x - 2x

- 42 = x

therefore, X = -42

Hope it helps you and is the correct answer,

Thank you :)
