I dont understand this so much.Please help:
Write similar logarithmic equivalents of these equations.In each case find also the value of x,using your knowledge of indices and not your calculator.

1)3^x=9

2)4^x=64

3)5^x=1/5

4)7^x=1

Write the equivalents of these equations in exponential form.Without using your calculator,find also the value of y in each case.(Those in brackets are the ones under log).

1)Y=log(5)125

2)y=log(6)1

3)y=log(64)8

Write the following expressions in the form log x where x is a number

1) log5+3log2-log10

2)log12-2log2-log9

3)2log4+log9-1/2log144

Answer:

x =  log_{3}(9)  = 2 \\ x =  log_{4}(64)  = 3 \\ x =  log_{5}( \frac{1}{5} )  =  log_{5}( {5}^{ - 1} )  =  - 1 \\ x =  log_{7}(1)  = 0

 {5}^{y}  = 125 \: and \: y \:  = 3 \\  {6}^{y}  = 1 \: and \: y \:  = 0  \\  {8}^{y}  = 64 \: and \: y \:  = 2

log4 \\ log \frac{1}{3}  \\ log12
