Given : right angled triangle .

To Find  : Construct its circumcircle.

relation between radius of circumcircle & hypotenuse of the triangle.

Solution:

right angled triangle .

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB of suitable length

Step 2 : Draw a right angle at B on AB using protractor / set square

Step 3 : Take  any suitable length on angle drawn and mark point C

Step 4 : Join AC

circumcircle.

Draw perpendicular bisector of AB   and  BC

perpendicular bisector meets at O  ( which lies on hypotenuse)

Draw a circle taking O as center and radius = OA = OB = OC

As O lies on hypotenuse

Hence hypotenuse is diameter of circumcircle

so Radius = Diameter /2 =  hypotenuse /2
