Answer:

Okay, so this is a question of Probability,

The first and foremost rule of solving these sums, is to keep in mind- i) No. of Possibilities ii) No. of possible event to occur iii) Possibility of something to not occur

Total no. of letters in English = 26 [General GK]

1.

No. of Events(or no. of B)= 1 (it is because B can occur only once in entire set of English alphabet, hence u can possible pick B only once)

Probablity of picking a B= [no. of event] ÷ [total no. of events]

=1/26

Hence picking a B from the set has a probability of 1/26...(Ans.)

2.

No. of events(or no. of vowels)= 5 (a, e ,i ,o ,u are the vowels and 'y' is yet not officially included)

Clearly, the Probabilty= 5/26

Hence, picking any vowel from the set has a probability of 5/26...(Ans.)

3.

Excluding the 5 vowels,

number of consonants= 21

Clearly, the Probabilty= 21/26

Hence, picking any vowel from the set has a probability of 21/26...(Ans.)

4.

No. of Events(or no. of A in english alphabet)= 1

Probablity of picking an A=1/26

Hence picking an A from the set has a probability of 1/26...(Ans.)
